With 1988 P.F. certificate for block of four. With 2015 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $16,000.00). This is the highest grade awarded in the P.S.E. Population Report and it is shared by only one other
2c Carmine, Ty. II, Coil (491). Pair, well-centered for this difficult issue, rich color, neat 1917 machine duplex cancelVERY FINE. A RARE USED PAIR OF THE 1916 TYPE II ROTARY PRESS HORIZONTAL COIL, SCOTT 491.
Unlike many other issues, the horizontal coil is actually scarcer than the vertical coil. It was in production for only a short period of time before being replaced by the Type III, Scott 492.
With 2005 A.P.S. and 2011 P.S.E. certificates (VF 80; SMQ $4,250.00). Only two have graded higher
3c Violet, Ty. II, Coil (494). Pair, light pastel shade, neat duplex cancels, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2013 P.F. certificate (XF-Superb 95), by way of comparison the P.S.E. Population Report records only one pair at 95 and one higher
5c Blue, Coil (496). Mint N.H. joint line pair, lovely centering, rich color, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2011 P.F. certificate (XF-Superb 95)
10c Orange Yellow, Coil (497). Mint N.H., vivid color, beautifully centered, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2014 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $325.00), only five grade higher (all at 100)
2c Deep Rose, Ty. Ia (500). Mint N.H., brilliant color and distinct impression of the Ty. Ia, Very Fine and choice, with 1967 P.F. certificate
5c Rose, Error (505). Double error in Mint N.H. block of twelve, bright color, one 2c stamp (position 6) with small inclusion (not mentioned on certificate), Fine-Very Fine, with 1989 P.F. certificate

5c Rose, Error (505). Huge beautifully balanced margins, lightly cancelled but P.F. declines opinion as to whether or not the cancel is contemporary, still Extremely Fine Gem appearance, ex Kirke, with 2010 P.F. certificate for block of nine, this the center stamp, Scott Retail as used $600.00
11c Light Green, Perf 10 at Bottom (511a). Mint N.H. wide top plate no. F 13469 block of six, bottom left stamp with transitional perfs at bottom, rich colorVERY FINE. AN EXTREMELY RARE MINT NEVER-HINGED WIDE TOP PLATE BLOCK CONTANING AN EXAMPLE OF THE SCARCE 11-CENT PERF 10 AT BOTTOM VARIETY.
Our records contain only five plate blocks with this variety. We are aware of only two others with wide top selvage, offered in the "Sirron" Collection (Siegel Sale 1001, lot 2077, off-center) and our Zoellner sale (Siegel Sale 804, lot 679). Only the Zoellner block is Mint N.H.

$1.00 Violet Brown (518). Mint N.H., deep rich color on bright paper, gorgeous centering with Jumbo margins, Extremely Fine Gem, ex "Clipper City", with 2010 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95 Jumbo; SMQ $800.00)
$1.00 Violet Brown (518). Lightly hinged, mathematically perfect centering with Jumbo margins, Extremely Fine Gem, a superb stamp, with 2014 P.S.E. certificate (OGph, Gem 100 Jumbo; unpriced in SMQ above the grade of 98, SMQ $325.00 as 100), this is one of only two hinged Scott 518's to achieve this ultimate grade (also two Mint N.H. grade 100J)
2c Carmine (519). Mint N.H., intense shade and impression, choice centering with wide and balanced margins, long and full perforations, Extremely Fine, with 2005 P.F. and P.S.E. certificates (XF 90; SMQ $1,750.00), only ten grade higher (six at 95 and four at 98)
$2.00 Orange Red & Black (523). Mint N.H. with wide top selvage, choice centering with wide margins, rich color showing some slight oxidation towards top (not mentioned on accompanying certificates), Extremely Fine, with 1979 P.F. and 2008 P.S.E. certificates (XF 90; SMQ $1,750.00)
$2.00 Orange Red & Black (523). Lightly hinged, perfectly centered with impressively wide and balanced margins, incredibly fresh color on bright paper, Extremely Fine Gem, P.S.E. encapsulated (Superb 98; SMQ $1,250.00), only one example has graded higher
$5.00 Deep Green & Black (524). Mint N.H., wide margins and unusually choice centering, intense colors on fresh paper, Extremely Fine Gem, a superb stamp, with 2006 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $2,650.00), only three grade higher
