Mint N.H., rich color and proof-like impression, perfectly centered with wide margins, Extremely Fine Gem, without question one of the finest in existence, with 2008 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100; SMQ $550.00), only one has graded higher (realized $2,100 hammer in our Nov. 2016 sale) and only one other shares this desirable grade, undervalued in SMQ
1c Green, A.E.F. Booklet Pane (498f). Corner and left center stamps mild h.r., others Mint N.H., rich color, nicely centered, Very Fine and choice, with 2003 P.S.E. certificate
2c Rose, Ty. I (499). Mint N.H., brilliant color, perfectly centered, Extremely Fine Gem, a phenomenal stamp, with 2007 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $225.00), only three have graded higher (one 98J, two at 100), this is the highest grade we have offered in one of our auctions and the first we have offered since 2008
2c Lake, Ty. I (499h). Mint N.H., intense shade, fresh and Fine example of this scarce shade, with 2010 P.S.E. certificate (F 70; SMQ $450.00)
2c Deep Rose, Ty. Ia (500). Mint N.H., brilliant color, choice centering with well-proportioned margins, Extremely Fine, with 1997 P.F. and 2008 P.S.E. certificates (XF 90; SMQ $1,100.00)
2c Deep Rose, Ty. Ia (500). Mint N.H. with top plate no. 10208 selvage, brilliant color in the distinct shade of the Ty. Ia, Very Fine and choice, with 1996 P.F. and 2006 P.S.E. certificates (VF-XF 85 Jumbo; SMQ $600.00)
3c Light Violet, Ty. I (501). Mint N.H., bright shade and paper, perfectly centered with long and full perforations, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2012 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $500.00), only one has graded higher (at 98J) and only nine others share this desirable grade, this is the first we have offered since 2013
3c Dark Violet, Ty. II (502). Mint N.H., deep rich color and proof-like impression, Extremely Fine Gem, a beautiful stamp, with 2009 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $850.00), only two have graded higher (one 100 and one 100J) and only three share this desirable grade, in our opinion this is undervalued in SMQ given the low Population Report numbers
4c Brown (503). Mint N.H., bright shade and crisp impression, perfect centering with Jumbo margins, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2009 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98 Jumbo; SMQ $600.00), only two have graded higher (one 100 and one 100J) and nine others share this grade, this is the highest grade we have offered in one of our auctions and the first we have offered since 2013
5c Blue (504). Mint N.H., deep rich color on bright paper, wonderful centering, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2007 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $475.00), only three have graded higher (two at 98J and one at 100J)
5c Rose, Error (505). Mint N.H., brilliant color on crisp paper, long and full perforations, perfectly centeredEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A GORGEOUS MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF SCOTT 505, WHICH IS GRADED SUPERB 98 BY P.S.E.
During the production of the normal 2c plate No. 7942, three positions were noted to be defective. The plate was sent back to the siderographer, who burnished out the three positions and mistakenly re-entered them using a transfer roll for the 5c stamp. The error passed unnoticed and the sheets were issued to the public as Perf 10, Imperforate and Perf 11 (Scott 467, 485 and 505).

5c Rose, Error (505). Mint N.H., intact perforations showing part of all eight adjoining stamps (five show the 2c denomination), Very Fine and choice, a stamp with great visual appeal, with 1997 P.F. and 2007 P.S.E. certificates (VF 80; SMQ $625.00)
5c Rose, Error (505). Mint N.H. single in a strip of three with normal 2c on sides, brilliant color, Extremely Fine, with 2013 P.F. certificate (VF-XF 85; SMQ $775.00 for single)
5c Rose, Error (505). Mint N.H. double error in complete pane of 100, four corner 2c stamps hinged, some perf separations not affecting the error block of 12, the errors are both Very Fine, Scott Retail as error block and plate blocks
6c Red Orange (506). Mint N.H., radiant color, unusually wide and balanced margins, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2007 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $600.00), only five have graded higher, seven others share this desirable grade
7c Black (507). Mint N.H., intense shade and proof-like impression, mathematically perfect centering with wide marginsEXTREMELY FINE GEM. THIS MAGNIFICENT STAMP IS GRADED GEM 100 BY P.S.E. -- THIS IS THE HIGHEST GRADE AEWARDED AND THE ONLY EXAMPLE TO ACHIEVE IT.
With 2015 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100; SMQ $3,250.00). This is the highest grade awarded and has been equaled by no others
8c Olive Bister (508). Mint N.H., lovely shade, perfectly centered with Jumbo margins, Extremely Fine Gem, ex Scarsdale, with 1996 P.F. and 2007 P.S.E. certificates (Superb 98 Jumbo; SMQ $750.00), only two have graded higher (one at 100, one at 100J) and only one other shares this desirable grade
9c Salmon Red (509). Mint N.H., vibrant color, unusually choice centering with wide margins, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2008 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $600.00), only four have graded higher (three at 98J and one at 100), this is the first in this grade we have offered since 2008
10c Orange Yellow (510). Mint N.H., with bottom selvage, vibrant color, perfectly centered with Jumbo margins, Extremely Fine Gem, a phenomenal stamp, with 2014 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98 Jumbo; SMQ $1,200.00), this is the highest grade awarded and only two others share it
10c Orange Yellow (510). Mint N.H., vibrant color, Jumbo margins, Extremely Fine Gem, with 1994 P.F. (for a block) and 2009 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95 Jumbo; SMQ $500.00)

We have offered one other since keeping computerized records, in 2000. The online records of the Philatelic Foundation contain only eight, including one with s.e. on two sides.

$1.00 Deep Brown (518b). Mint N.H., deep rich color, fresh and Fine, according to Johl, a small number of stamps were printed in this distinctive shade early in the issue of the 1917 $1.00 stamp, during the course of the six years that the stamp was issued, all other printings were made in the Violet Brown shade, with 2011 P.F. and P.S.E. certificates
