A review of our computerized auction records from the past 20 years indicates that we have sold perhaps four or five examples which would compare favorably with the example offered here.

Small part original gum, bright shade, perforations either reperfed or improved but nothing mentioned on accompanying certificate from the "Blue Cert" era when life was simpler, you could leave your front door unlocked, and no one lived in fear of what might be called on a certificate, Very Fine appearance, only 465 sold, with 1975 P.F. certificate, Scott Retail as with gum
12c Black, Re-Issue (107). Unused (no gum), intense shade, huge margins, reperfed at left where perf added, otherwise Very Fine, only 389 sold, with 1989 P.S.E. certificate
