FINE-VERY FINE. AN IMPRESSIVE AND RARE COMPLETE COLLECTION OF TOP AND BOTTOM PLATE NUMBERS FOR THE 1907 JAMESTOWN ISSUE.
Scott value as all hinged singles without regard to the plate numbers is $3,820.00 That value in no way measures the difficulty of compiling this set.
1c Green, Jamestown (328). Mint N.H., deep rich color, exceptional centering, particularly for this difficult issue
EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB MINT NEVER-HINGED ONE-CENT JAMESTOWN, GRADED SUPERB 98 BY P.S.E.

1c Green, Jamestown (328). Mint N.H. bottom imprint and plate no. 3545 block of six, rich color on bright paper, Very Fine, with 2009 P.F. certificate
2c Carmine, Jamestown (329). Mint N.H. with half-arrow bottom selvage, brilliant color, essentially perfect centering and Jumbo margins which are very rarely encountered on this tightly spaced issue
EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A STUNNING MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 2-CENT JAMESTOWN, GRADED SUPERB 98 JUMBO BY P.S.E. — ONLY ONE GRADES HIGHER AND ONE OTHER SHARES THIS GRADE.
The Jamestown Issue is notorious for its tight spacing and narrow margins, which causes most copies to be off-center to some degree and nearly all to lack anything approaching Jumbo margins. Only one stamp among all three denominations has been graded Gem 100 (2c, Sale 1150, lot 994), and this is one of only four in Mint N.H. condition throughout the entire set to achieve a 98J grade.
With 2023 (for a block) and 2024 P.S.E. certificates (Superb 98 Jumbo). Only one 2c grades higher and one shares this grade.
2c Carmine, Jamestown (329). Mint N.H. with bottom plate no. 3517 selvage, outstanding centering and margins, brilliant color, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2023 (copy for a block) and 2024 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95)
2c Carmine, Jamestown (329). Mint N.H. bottom imprint and plate no. 3657 block of six, vivid color, Very Fine
5c Blue, Jamestown (330). Mint N.H. block of four with top plate no. 3560 selvage and nearly all of the imprint, deep rich color, Very Fine, Scott value $1,500 as singles without premium for the position
