March 15, 1766 handwritten legal document executed in Quebec, "Nine Pence Quire" crowned circle handstamp, excellent condition for this with faults limited to some edge and fold wear or small tears, one piece of tape at edge of one of the folds, Very Fine embossing, these often have writing over them and this example, which is completely clear of writing is particularly choice, for some reason the Scott value jumped from $2,500.00 to $17,000.00 a couple of years ago
