With 2015 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $3,000.00). Only one grades higher (at 100J, offered in our 2019 Gems sale) and only two others share this lofty grade

2c Carmine, Ty. III (267). Mint N.H., with plate no. 173 left selvage, choice centering, vibrant color, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2013 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $300.00)
2c Vermilion, Ty. III, Pink Back (267b var). Mint N.H. with bottom part imprint selvage, glowing color with clear aniline ink pinkish tinge on gum side, Extremely Fine, the Vermilion Scott 267b is a very rare shade with or without the Pink Back, very few certified copies are listed in either the P.F. online records or the P.S.E. Population Report, with 2021 P.S.E. certificate for a strip of three and stating "aniline ink variety", Scott value of $50.00 for normal 267b (hinged) bears little relation to the value of this stamp, which is unlisted in Scott with the Pink Back
