Scott 300b was issued more than four years after the normal stamp was released, and was the first 1c booklet. The panes were printed from new plates. The earliest reported usage is March 6, 1907. The issue was replaced by the 1c Franklin booklet pane, Scott 331a (edu Dec. 1908). Very few intact panes were used due to the ready availability of 6c and other mid-denomination stamps. We have only seen two or three genuine used panes with the tab attached--most were removed prior to use.

An example graded 90 Jumbo realized $2,600 hammer in our sale of the North Fork collection (Sale 903). The 95 Jumbo in the Scarsdale sale realized $11,000 hammer. The quality of the stamp offered here is comparable.
