1c Ultramarine, Special Printing (167). Without gum as issued, wonderfully fresh color, scissors separated with intact perforationsFINE. AN EXTREMELY RARE AND DESIRABLE EXAMPLE OF THE ONE-CENT 1875 CONTINENTAL BANK NOTE COMPANY SPECIAL PRINTING.
Our records indicate there are only approximately ten examples known with intact perforations.

Block of 20, original gum, several stamps Mint N.H., short or toned gum on others, bright color, rough perfs at bottom, separations and some paper bunching between 2nd and 3rd rows, otherwise Fine-Very Fine, scarce large multiple which is the largest we found using Power Search, Scott Retail as hinged blocks and pairs
3c Green (184). Wide balanced margins, rich color with very light cancel, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2009 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $470.00), according to the P.S.E. Population Report this is the only one in this grade with only six higher

This issue is often found in Mint N.H. condition, as several sheets have been broken in the past ten years. However, most of the stamps in these sheets are somewhat off-center, and examples such as this are very rare.
P.S.E. encapsulated (Superb 98; SMQ $8,400.00). Only one has graded higher to date (at 100, offered in our Whitman sale), and only two others share this grade
