2c Panama-Pacific, "Varnish Ink" (398 var). Mint N.H., distinctive color and impression, fresh and Very Fine example of this unusual printing variety, the ink must have been mixed with a component that caused this distinctive variety, ex Saddleback, with 1995 P.S.E. certificate
2c Lake, Panama-Pacific (398b). Slightly disturbed original gum, intense color which is significantly different from both the listed shade and also the Carmine Lake shade, choice centeringVERY FINE EXAMPLE OF THE 2-CENT PANAMA-PACIFIC IN THE RARE LAKE SHADE.
According to Johl, "there is one shade that is practically as scarce as the four-cent Blue of the Columbian issue, this is known as Lake, almost the same color as were the Postage Due stamps current at that time. Only one pane of 70 is said to have been found at a Post Office in San Francisco, although it hardly seems possible that but one sheet could have been printed in this dark color. When these were discovered there were only 40 copies left; 31 were purchased by A.L., an old-time collector, and 9 by a local dealer."

2c Rose, Ty. I, A.E.F. Booklet Pane (499f). Position W10, brilliant color, pos. 1 with some gum loss that accompanying certificate identifies as "thinning" (if there is a thin in this position it is tiny)FINE-VERY FINE. A RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 2-CENT A.E.F. BOOKLET PANE. IT IS BELIEVED THAT NO MORE THAN 20 EXIST IN ANY CONDITION.
The A.E.F. booklet panes were issued in September 1917, primarily for use by the American Expeditionary Forces in Europe during World War I. Only 3,000 panes were prepared of both the 1c and 2c denominations. By October they were no longer needed, as Congress voted to allow mail to be sent free of charge by active members of the Armed Forces. Many of the panes were destroyed.

2c, 5c Norse-American (620-621). Top plate no. blocks of eight, 1c Mint N.H., 5c lightly hinged, also centerline blocks of four of both denominations and centerline block of eight of 2c, Very Fine group
2c Von Steuben, Imperforate (689a). Horizontal pair, Positions 49-50, large margins to just clear at right, Fine-Very Fine, with copy of 1990 P.F. certificate for block of four, three panes of 100 were originally discovered, the first was returned and destroyed, some stamps from the second pane were used on covers and the remainder was returned, the third pane was discovered in Washington state and purchased intact at the post office, all known examples come from this third pane
2c Dark Lake & Black (703b). Two Mint N.H. examples, one with top right corner selvage (small spot in selvage), rich color in this unmistakable shade, Fine, with 1981 and 1992 P.F. certificates, also incl. normal color No. 703 with dramatic vignette shift, Fine
3c Nicolet's Landing, Imperforate Horizontally (734a). Mint N.H., wide margins, bright color, top stamp with natural gum crease and small faint backstamp, neither mentioned on accompanying certificate, Very Fine, with 1995 P.F. certificate
3c Nicolet's Landing, Imperforate Vertically (739b). Wide balanced margins, brilliant color, Very Fine and choice, scarcer than the imperforate horizontally variety, this is the first example we have offered since 2009
