Original gum which is fully intact but harshly called "disturbed" on most recent certificate, deep rich color, choice centering with wide margins, Extremely Fine, the Lake Type I is one of the scarcest 2c 1903 Shield issues, with 1988 P.F. certificate for block of four, with 2021 P.F. certificate for this single, this shade is listed but unpriced in Scott
