1c Blue, Ty. II (7). Position 52R2, huge to enormous margins including large portions of adjoining stamps at sides, brilliant color, bold strike of Jul. 7 New York town datestampEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB EXAMPLE OF THE ONE-CENT TYPE II 1851 ISSUE.

3c Brownish Carmine, Ty. II (11A var). Large margins to full including left sheet or interpane margin, radiant color beautifully complemented by red circular datestamp, fresh and Extremely Fine example of this desirable shade, with 2011 P.F. certificate
3c Dull Red, Ty. II, Waterbury Conn. Unofficial Roulettes (11A var). Position 68R1L, clear roulettes with portion of adjoining stamp at bottom, blue Somersville Ct. (Nov.) circular datestamp cancel, corner crease at top right, Fine appearance and rare, only about ten off-cover examples are recorded and this new find is the first identified with a non-Waterbury cancel (Somersville Ct. is about one hour north of Waterbury), in an article on this issue in the Sesquicentennial book (pp. 144-148), Wilson Hulme dates the device, based on shade and plate, to 1854, all are from Plate 1 Late, the roulette is spread far apart, leaving wide areas of the stamp still connected, with 2017 P.F. certificate calling the town "Somerset" but we believe they meant Somersville
3c Dull Red, Ty. I, Vertical Half Used as 1c (11 var). Left half, tied on small piece by clear "New York Nov. 27" circular datestamp, stamp with light vertical rub at left, otherwise Fine and rare, Scott Retail as complete cover (as Ty. II) $5,000.00
10c Green, Ty. I (13). Unused (no gum), large to full margins, rich color, strong impression, small internal paper break to the left of Washington's face, light creasing and a couple trivial surface scrapes, otherwise Very Fine, a rare unused stamp, with 2016 P.F. certificate

The 10c Type I stamps are defined as having complete scrolls at bottom. They are only found on the bottom row of the plate (20 positions). For some reason, they were usually trimmed at bottom when they were separated, leaving a dearth of quality copies. This example, with its large bottom margin, is an extreme exception to the rule.
With 2013 P.S.E. certificate (XF 90 Jumbo; SMQ $1,850.00). We have no idea why this stamp did not receive the well-deserved grade of 95 (or 95J).
10c Green, Ty. I (13). Position 99R1, curl in left "X" variety, ample to huge margins, deep rich color and clear impression, neat circular datestamp cancel, Extremely Fine, with 2010 P.S.E. certificate (XF 90; SMQ $1,550.00 with no premium for the variety)
10c Green, Ty. III (15). Huge perfectly balanced margins, light face-free strike of town datestamp, small manuscript ink marks on back, still an Extremely Fine Gem, with 2012 P.S.E. certificate not mentioning the ink marks (Superb 98; SMQ $1,250.00)
