EXTREMELY FINE. A REMARKABLE AND BEAUTIFUL LEATHER-BOUND ASSEMBLAGE OF TOBACCO TIN FOIL WRAPPER PROOFS AND ESSAYS.

This is believed to have been created from a John J. Crooke & Co. salesman’s sample book, bound and stamped by Mr. Deats. This is only the second time this magnificent book has come up for public sale, the first being the dispersal of the Weill Brothers' stock in 1989 at Christie’s. The lot also includes Mr. Deats’ copy of E.B. Sterling’s published list of tin-foils, along with his notes.
