5c Blue (185). Mint N.H., intense shade and impression, gorgeous centering with enormous margins all around, slightly shorter perf at lower rightEXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT 1879 AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY ISSUE.
With 2006 P.S.E. certificate (VF-XF 85; SMQ $2,800.00). We are confident that this would have graded 95 if the one perf at lower right was a trifle longer.
5c Blue (185). Original gum, lightly hinged, nearly perfect centering with intense color, Extremely Fine, with 1983 P.F. certificate
6c Pink (186). Original gum, lightly hinged, uncommonly wide margins and precise centering, fresh and bright with the classic pastel Pink color of the 1879 American Bank Note Co. soft paper issueEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A MAGNIFICENT ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 6-CENT 1879 AMERICAN BANK NOTE ISSUE.
This is a difficult issue to find in such choice condition. Collectors who are waiting for a similarly-centered Mint N.H. copy are advised to consider the stamp offered here -- we have offered only one Mint N.H. single since keeping computerized records (in the Odeneal collection, which realized $12,000 hammer).

10c Brown, Without Secret Mark (187). Original gum, well-centered, deep rich color, faint margin edge staining, mostly at bottom, reperfed at left, otherwise Very Fine, with 1991 P.F. certificate which does not mention the staining or reperf but does state "part original gum"
10c Brown, Without Secret Mark (187). Slightly disturbed original gum, exceptionally wide margins, lovely rich color, Very Fine and choice, with 1988 and 2005 P.F. certificates
10c Brown, With Secret Mark (188). Original gum, lightly hinged, beautiful margins and almost perfectly centered, outstanding depth of color of bright paper and with a sharp impressionEXTREMELY FINE. AN OUTSTANDING ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 1879 10-CENT AMERICAN BANK NOTE PRINTING WITH SECRET MARK.
The 10c stamps from the American Bank Note printing (Scott Nos. 187 and 188) are notably scarce with such choice centering. The example offered here, with wide margins on all four sides, is a true condition rarity.
