With 1995 P.F. and 2008 P.S.E. certificates (Superb 98; SMQ $8,500.00). This is the highest grade awarded and only three others share it, a statistic that has not changed in five years. With note from master grader William A. Litle stating "Just a wonderful stamp. I think this is the fourth 98NH and none higher"

With 2008 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $2,650.00). Only one has graded higher (at 98) and only seven others share this desirable grade, a statistic that has not changed since 2009. This is also the first in this grade we have offered since 2012.

$1.00 Violet Brown (423). Mint N.H., extraordinary centering with wide margins, deep shade and proof-like impression on post-office fresh paperEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB EXAMPLE OF THE 1912 $1.00 PERF 12 ISSUE, WHICH IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO FIND WITH SUCH CHOICE CENTERING.
This stamp occasionally comes with wide margins, but is rarely found with such perfect centering, especially in Mint N.H. condition.
With 2007 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $6,250.00). Only two have graded higher (one 98 and one 98J) and five others share this grade. This is the highest grade we have offered in one of our auctions and the first in this grade we have offered since 2009
