7c Vermilion, H. Grill (138). Intense shade, bold strike of circle of wedges cancel, fresh and Very Fine, with 1988 and 2011 P.F. certificates
10c Brown, H. Grill (139). Unused (no gum), discernible grill and clear stitch watermark, ample to wide margins, Very Fine and scarce variety, with 1989 P.F. certificate, Scott Retail as normal
12c Dull Violet, H. Grill (140). Bright red cork cancel, Fine example of this scarce grilled Bank Note Issue, with 2012 P.F. certificate
90c Carmine, H. Grill (144). Original gum, several rows of clear grill points, bright shadeFINE. AN EXCEEDINGLY RARE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 1870 90-CENT GRILLED NATIONAL BANK NOTE ISSUE. THE 90-CENT IS THE THIRD MOST DIFFICULT OF THE NATIONAL BANK NOTE GRILLED ISSUES TO OBTAIN IN ORIGINAL-GUM CONDITION.
Considering original-gum examples only, after the extremely rare 12c and non-existent 24c, the 90c is the rarest of the 1870 National Grilled Issue.

Starting with the 2013 Scott U.S. Specialized Catalogue, the I Grills have been elevated to major catalogue number status. The listing is now consistent with other grill types such as A, B, C, D, Z, E and F Grills. Collectors will now have to acquire these I Grills in their quest for completeness. We anticipate that collector demand will be difficult to satisfy based on populations we have seen.

6c Carmine, Double Impression (148b). Showing distinct doubling of "Cents", the second impression with nice detail, unusual rosette cancel, stamp with tiny corner creases at bottom left and top right, tiny thin spot at top, Fine appearance, with 2002 P.S.E. certificate stating it is genuine and showing doubling of "Cents", with 2005 P.F. certificate stating this is a kiss print of "Cents", the impression is too detailed to be a kiss print, our census of this issue is available at http://siegelauctions.com/dynamic/census/148b/148b.pdf , Scott Retail as double impression $13,000.00, this is offered on its own merits and we are sure it will find an appreciative home
