1933, $6.00 Handstamped Surcharge on -1/4bbl. Green, Beer (REA179a; Priester 202C). Priester Type 223 surcharge, rich color, large margins, "Atlas BO 12-6-33" perforated cancel, few faults including internal tear at right, Very Fine, rare, the Priester census reports only five known for REA179a but only one with the Type 223 surcharge, ex Tolman
1933, $6.00 Handstamped Surcharge on -1/2bbl. Brown Orange, Beer (REA180a; Priester 204C). Priester Type 226 surcharge, radiant color, "B BRG Co 12:+5:33" perforated cancel, light creases are barely noticeableEXTREMELY FINE. VERY FEW EXAMPLES OF THE 1933 SECOND ISSUE HALF-BARREL WITH TYPE C SURCHARGE ARE KNOWN. A GREAT RARITY.
The Priester census lists three but we are aware of five, including one with Type 221 surcharge, two with Type 226, one with Type 227 and one with an unlisted surcharge type.
1934, -1/3 bbl. Brown Orange (REA184; Priester 210a). Serial No. 420, large margins except where small piece out at top right, "G B B Co., CALIFUN114, 4.11.35" perforated cancel, light crease, small tear at right, small tack holes in the cornersVERY FINE APPEARANCE. THIS IS THE ONLY RECORDED EXAMPLE OF THE ONE-THIRD BARREL 1934 ISSUE. ONE OF THE GREATEST RARITIES OF BEER STAMP COLLECTING.

1934, 1hhd. Black, Center Cutout, Beer (REA187; Priester 213). Small cutout at left, large margins to full, "Hoff Bev. Co., 7.5.44" perforated cancel, Very Fine, scarce, aside from Specimens, this is not known any other way except with the cut-out punch cancel, especially desirable in sound condition, ex "Scarsdale", with 2007 P.F. certificate
1945, 500bbl. Dark Brown, Center Cutout, Beer (REA189; Priester 215). Small hole cutout at center below denomination, large margins, bright color, "??eiffer, 12.30.50" perforated cancel, fresh and Very Fine, only 20 are recorded in the Priester census, neither Scott nor Priester differentiate between small hole and large hole cutouts, ex "Scarsdale"
1947, 25bbl. Black, Beer (REA196; Priester 222a). Unused (no gum), large margins, fresh and Very Fine, from the Smithsonian National Postal Museum deaccession, with 2005 P.F. certificate
1947, 500bbl. Dark Brown, Beer (REA198; Priester 224a). Unused (no gum), large margins, bright color, Very Fine and choice, from the Smithsonian National Postal Museum deaccession
1951, ($225.00) Black on Bright Blue, 25bbl., Beer (REA199; Priester 225a). Large margins, rich color, tiny soiled spot in margin at lower leftVERY FINE APPEARANCE. THIS WAS THE LAST BEER STAMP ISSUED AND IT IS ALSO ONE OF THE RAREST. ONLY TWO EXAMPLES ARE RECORDED.
The tax rate represented by this stamp is $9.00 per barrel (25 barrels x $9 = $225). It is one of the keys to a complete collection of Beer stamps.
