1c-90c 1890-93 Issue, Imperforate (219c-229a). Horizontal pairs, including two of 220 (slightly different shades), 10c with right sheet margin, 30c with wide top left corner sheet margin, 90c with left sheet margin, 219D is block of four without gum, others original gum, mostly h.r., ample to mostly large margins, 15c few small adherencesFINE-VERY FINE. A SCARCE COMPLETE SET OF THE 1890-93 ISSUE IMPERFORATE ON STAMP PAPER. RARELY OFFERED AS A COMPLETE SET.

2c Lake (219D). Mint N.H. with part imprint selvage at right, wide margins, intense shade and impression, fresh, Very Fine and choice, with photocopy of 1986 P.F. certificate for pair
2c Carmine, Cap on Left "2" (220a). Mint N.H., rich color, Extremely Fine, a pretty stamp, with photocopy of 1990 P.F. for a block and 2004 P.F. certificates
2c Carmine, Cap on Both "2"s (220c). Original gum, lightly hinged, well-centered, brilliant color, Very Fine and choice, with 2004 P.F. certificate
4c Dark Brown (222). Mint N.H., intense shade and sharp impression, Very Fine and choice, with 1996 P.F. certificate
5c Chocolate (223). Mint N.H., rich color on bright white paper, choice centering with wide margins, Extremely Fine, with 1997 P.S.E. certificate
8c Lilac (225). Mint N.H., deep shade on bright paper, well-proportioned margins, Extremely Fine, with 2015 P.S.E. certificate (XF 90; SMQ $525.00)
10c Green (226). Mint N.H. with wide selvage with part imprint at bottom, deep rich color and proof-like impression, Jumbo marginsEXTREMELY FINE. A PRISTINE MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 10-CENT 1890 SMALL BANK NOTE ISSUE.

10c Green (226). Original gum, deep rich color and proof-like impression, perfectly centeredEXTREMELY FINE. A SUPERB ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 10-CENT 1890 ISSUE, WHICH IS GRADED GEM 100 BY P.S.E.
With 2003 P.F. and 2014 P.S.E. certificates (OGh, Gem 100; SMQ $2,150.00). This is the highest grade awarded and no others share it
15c Indigo (227). Original gum, lightly hinged, deep shade, well-balanced margins, Extremely Fine, with 2014 P.S.E. certificate (OGph, XF 90; SMQ $500.00)
15c Indigo (227). Original gum, h.r., intense shade and impression, top pair expecially well-centered, Fine-Very Fine
15c Indigo (227). Rich color on bright paper, duplex cancel, wide and balanced margins, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2008 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $325.00), the highest grade awarded is a 95J
15c Indigo, Imperforate (227a). Bottom imprint and plate no. 22 block of twelve, original gum, large margins to clear at right, deep color, a few small thin specks and a couple trivial surface scuffs probably caused by sheet stacking, small scissor cut between stamps at right, faint toned band at bottom rightVERY FINE APPEARANCE. ONE OF TWO KNOWN PLATE BLOCKS OF THE 1890 15-CENT INDIGO IMPERFORATE.
The other example (which had a repair) was offered in our 2015 sale of the Robert R. Hall Collection and is the basis for the Scott Catalogue value.
