Uncommonly wide margins and choice centering, faint secret mark, blue target cancel, Extremely Fine Gem, a superb stamp made more desirable by the colored cancel, ex Kirke, with 2004 P.F. and 2005 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95 Jumbo; SMQ $365.00 as 95, $1,150.00 as 98), only two have graded higher and only five others share this grade
15c Red Orange (189). Block of four, top pair original gum, lightly hinged, bottom pair Mint N.H. but with pencil marks on gum, vivid color on fresh paper, some perf separations, Fine-Very Fine, Scott Retail for hinged block

Mathematically precise centering with gigantic margins all around, vivid color, beautiful even perforations all around, neat strike of "5" in four-ring target cancel and trace of additional cancel at leftEXTREMELY FINE GEM. THIS PHENOMENAL STAMP HAS BEEN AWARDED THE GRADE OF GEM 100 JUMBO BY P.S.E. -- THIS IS THE HIGHEST GRADE POSSIBLE AND THIS IS THE ONLY STAMP TO ACHIEVE THIS PERFECT GRADE IN ANY CATEGORY.
Ex Natalee Grace. With 2000 P.F. and 2009 P.S.E. certificates (Gem 100 Jumbo; unpriced in SMQ above the grade of 98, SMQ $960.00 as 98). This is the only example of this stamp in any category to achieve the highest grade possible on the grading scale. The margin size is significantly greater than the Mint N.H. copy graded Gem 100 and offered in our sale of the Whitman collection. This is also one of only six used Bank Note stamps (five different Scott Nos.) between Scott 134 and 218 to achieve this perfect grade. Finally, it is also the only stamp -- unused or used -- with a denomination higher than 10c to achieve this grade before the 1898 Trans-Mississippi Issue.
30c Full Black (190). Original gum, three small hinge marks but by no means heavily hinged, choice centering and margins, deep shade, Extremely Fine, with 2001 P.F. and 2008 P.S.E. certificates (OGh, XF 90; SMQ $1,750.00)
24c Dark Violet, Special Printing (200). Without gum as issued, rich color on bright paper, long and full perforationsFINE EXAMPLE OF THE 1880 24-CENT AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY SPECIAL PRINTING.
Our recent review of records at the Philatelic Foundation found 67 certified copies of Scott 200, 24 of which have faults (usually a thin spot). Another has been certified by P.S.E., bringing our count to 68.

Enormous margins all around, crisp impression, pretty shade nicely contrasted by purple quartered cork cancel, Extremely Fine Gem, a phenomenal stamp, ex Kirke, with 2005 P.F., 2000 and 2005 P.S.E. certificates (Superb 98 Jumbo; SMQ $510.00 as 98, unpriced in higher grade), this is one of only three examples to be awarded this desirable grade with none higher, we sold one of the other 98J's in our Sale 992 and this example has wider margins and a far more attractive cancel, the other 98J is in the Orange Brown shade
10c Black Brown (209b). Original gum, margins to just clear, thin spot, Fine appearance, very scarce shade, with 2013 P.F. certificate
