2c Carmine (375). Mint N.H., vivid color on post-office fresh paper, Jumbo margins and essentially perfect centering, Extremely Fine Gem, a beautiful stamp, ex Merlin, with 2007 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98 Jumbo; SMQ $625.00), this is the highest grade awarded and only seven others share it
3c Deep Violet (376). Mint N.H., deep rich color on bright paper, gorgeous centering with Jumbo margins, Extremely Fine Gem, a phenomenal stamp, with 2008 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98 Jumbo; SMQ $1,400.00), this is the highest grade awarded and the only example to achieve this grade

THIS STAMP HAS BEEN AWARDED THE GRADE OF SUPERB 98 JUMBO BY P.S.E., WHICH IS THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED.

AN ABSOLUTELY STUNNING MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 1911 8-CENT PERF 12 SINGLE-LINE WATERMARK ISSUE. THIS STAMP HAS EARNED THE PERFECT GRADE OF GEM 100 JUMBO FROM P.S.E. -- THIS IS THE HIGHEST GRADE POSSIBLE AND IT IS THE ONLY EXAMPLE TO ACHIEVE IT.
With 2009 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100 Jumbo; unpriced in SMQ above the grade of 100, SMQ $10,500.00 as 100). This is the highest grade possible on the grading chart and this is the only example to achieve this ultimate grade. The next-highest grade awarded is a single example graded 98.

Ex "Piedmont." With 2000 P.F. and 2005 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95 Jumbo; SMQ $2,100.00). Only two examples have been graded higher (at 98 and 100J, the latter offered in lot 3547)
10c Yellow (381). Mint N.H., vibrant color, beautiful centering with Jumbo marginsEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A BEAUTIFUL MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 1911 10-CENT SINGLE-LINE WATERMARK ISSUE, SCOTT 381.
With 1998 P.F. and 2007 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95 Jumbo; SMQ $1,750.00). Only five have graded higher (three at 98 and two at 100). This is the first time we have offered one graded higher than 95 in one of our auctions.
15c Pale Ultramarine (382). Mint N.H., rich color and detailed impression on bright paper, unusually choice centering for this issueEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A GORGEOUS MINT NEVER HINGED EXAMPLE OF SCOTT 382. THIS IS A DIFFICULT ISSUE TO OBTAIN IN THE HIGHER GRADES.
With 2004 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $2,250.00). Only two have graded higher (one at 95J and one at 98). We recently sold the sole 98 for $5,250 hammer in our Hanover sale. We have never offered the 95J, and this is the first in this grade we have offered since 2013

1c-3c Washington-Franklins, Imperforate (383-384, 408-409, 481-482, 483-484). Mint N.H., each graded Gem 100 Jumbo, No. 408 with plate no. 7520 at left, No. 409 with plate no. 7315 at bottom, others show part of all eight adjoining stamps, rich colors, Extremely Fine Gems, an excellent opportunity to acquire these high-grade issues all at once, with 2007-2010 P.S.E. certificates (Gem 100 Jumbo; unpriced in this grade, SMQ $810.00 as 100), Nos. 384 and 483 are scarcest in this grade with one and eight equal respectively
