A STUNNING MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 2-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL ISSUE WHICH HAS BEEN GRADED XF 90 BY P.S.E. -- THIS IS THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED TO DATE TO A MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THIS ISSUE.
With 2009 P.S.E. certificate (XF 90; unpriced as Mint N.H. in SMQ, SMQ $1,600.00 as hinged). The much more common 3c (which is priced in SMQ in Mint N.H. condition) carries a premium of 250% in 90 grade for Mint N.H. versus hinged. This is the highest grade awarded to date and the only example to achieve this grade.

With 2008 "decline opinion" P.F. certificate which reads "it is a genuine Scott 118, without a trace of a grill, but due to a lack of original gum, decline opinion with respect to whether this is the 'without grill' variety". As the P.F. notes, there is no trace of grill. The dark shades and proof-like impression of this stamp further reinforce its "without grill" classification, original gum notwithstanding.
15c Brown & Blue, Ty. II (119). Block of four, original gum, bottom pair Mint N.H., incredibly fresh with strong frame and vignette colors, Very Good, an acceptable example of this rare unused block as there are relatively few to choose from in all conditions, especially desirable with two Mint N.H. stamps
24c Green & Violet (120). Wide margins, rosette cancel, Very Fine and attractive, with 2008 P.S.E. certificate
