1c-15c 1898 Issue (279-284). 26 stamps, all except seven Mint N.H., an excellent shade study showing distinct differences in the same Scott number, including Nos. 279 (3), 279B (7), 280 (4), 280b, 281 (3), 282 (4), 282a, 282C, 283 and 284, centering much better than normally seen, Very Fine-Extremely Fine, Scott Catalogue lists sub-shades for most Scott numbers (such as Deep Green, Green, Yellow Green and Dark Yellow Green for No. 279), this group does an admirable job of demonstrating the various shades and would be difficult to duplicate, four with P.F. certificates
