CANADA, 1851, 3p Orange Vermilion, Laid Paper (1a; SG 1). Vibrant color, huge margins including sheet margin at bottom, tied by well-struck target cancel with "Kingston U.C., AU 5, 1852" despatch circular datestamp at left on cover to Whitby, Aug. 6 arrival backstampEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A REMARKBLE SINGLE OF THE CANADA 1851 3-PENCE ON LAID PAPER IN THE ORANGE-VERMILION SHADE ON A PRISTINE COVER. WITHOUT QUESTION, ONE OF THE FINEST SINGLE FRANKINGS ON COVER IN EXISTENCE.

Horizontal pair, large to full margins all around, tied by two target cancels with "St. Catherines U.C., Jul. 29, 1851" despatch circular datestamp at left on folded letter to D.S. Kennedy in New York, Kingston Jul. 30 transit backstamp, red "Canada" in arc also ties pair, "Paid" and "10" handstamps, couple vertical file folds, one which affects right stamp of pair though not detracting from overall appearance, still a scarce and Very Fine pair on a Kennedy correspondence cover, ex Lichtenstein, with 2016 Greene Foundation certificate
CANADA, 1959, 5c Seaway Invert (387a; SG 513a). Mint N.H. with left selvage, beautifully centered and extraordinarily freshEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB EXAMPLE OF THE RARE AND DESIRABLE CANADA SEAWAY INVERT.
Approximately 200 unused St. Lawrence Seaway inverts are in private hands. A large percentage of these have some sort of gum malady -- some were subsequently hinged, and many have fingerprints or other disturbance due to poor handling from the non-collecting public, who purchased them at post office counters. To find a perfect copy with pristine gum, such as the example offered here, is truly remarkable.

CANADA, 1997, $5.00 Moose, Engraved Colors (Moose, etc.) Omitted (1693a). Mint N.H. with bottom left corner selvage, brilliantly freshEXTREMELY FINE AND SPECTACULAR EXAMPLE OF ONE OF THE MOST STRIKING COLOR-OMITTED ERRORS OF CANADA, THE "MISSING MOOSE" ERROR.
This eye-catching error occurred when the lithographed colors were printed, but they neglected to put them in the press a second time for the engraved colors. Between eight and twelve panes (32-48 stamps) were found.

CANADA, Manitoba Law Stamp, October 1877, 25c Red & Black, Trace of "L S" at Bottom of Stamp (van Dam ML19a). Clearly showing trace of the "LS" at bottom, herringbone cancel and blue "Nov. 5, 1877" datestamp, manuscript "EWR" initials at top right of E.W. Romans who was the deputy provincial treasurer, Very Fine and quite rare, we are aware of only one other example and likely no more than a few exist, with 2018 Greene Foundation certificate, van Dam C$1,400.00
BECHUANALAND, 1885, 2p Bister, Double Overprint (7b; SG 6c). Neat Mafeking circular datestamp, clear doubling of overprint, certificate notes "a little toned" which is unjustly harsh, otherwise Very Fine, a rare error, with 2021 B.P.A. certificate, Scott $2,300.00, SG £2,250

GREAT BRITAIN, 1882, £5 Orange (93; SG 137). Plate 1, lettered B-E, Mint N.H., exceptionally vibrant shade on bright paper, minor gum wrinkle which is endemic to this issue and far less severe than typically seenVERY FINE. A SUPERB NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 1882 5-POUND ORANGE. A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF THIS SOUGHT-AFTER STAMP.
While hinged copies are scarce though often "available", certified Mint Never-Hinged examples are seldom encountered. This is the first Mint N.H. example we have offered in eighteen years.
