2c Carmine (332). Mint N.H., brilliant color on post-office fresh paper, mathematically perfect centering with incredibly wide Jumbo marginsEXTREMELY FINE GEM. THIS STUNNING EXAMPLE OF THE 2-CENT PERF 12 DOUBLE-LINE WATERMARKED ISSUE HAS ACHIEVED THE UNSURPASSABLE GRADE OF GEM 100 JUMBO.
P.S.E. encapsulated (Gem 100 Jumbo; unpriced in SMQ above the grade of 98, SMQ $540.00 as 98). Only two other examples have achieved this perfect grade
3c Deep Violet, Bluish (359). Mint N.H., deep rich color and proof-like impression on deeply blued paper, exceptionally well-centered for this difficult issueEXTREMELY FINE. AN OUTSTANDING AND EXTREMELY RARE MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 3-CENT ON BLUISH WITH CHOICE CENTERING, GRADED XF-90 BY P.S.E. THIS IS BY FAR THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED TO DATE.
This stamp in Mint N.H. condition in any grade of centering is rare -- this is only the fourth different example we have offered since keeping computerized records. The combination of this stamp's outstanding centering and pristine gum makes it an exceptional condition rarity.
P.S.E. encapsulated (XF 90; SMQ $9,100.00). The only other Mint N.H. example in the P.S.E. Population Report is graded VF 80.
5c Blue, Bluish (361). Mint N.H., rich color on deeply blued paper, perfect centering with unusually wide and balanced marginsEXTREMELY FINE GEM. WITHOUT QUESTION THIS IS ONE OF THE THREE FINEST MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLES OF THE 5-CENT WASHINGTON ON BLUISH PAPER IN EXISTENCE. A REMARKABLE STAMP IN TERMS OF GUM, CENTERING, SIZE OF MARGINS AND COLOR. THIS SUPERB STAMP HAS BEEN GRADED XF-90 BY P.S.E. -- THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED TO DATE.
We have only been able to locate two examples comparable to the stamp offered here. One was offered in the Zoellner sale. The other was offered in the Floyd sale held by Shreves.
2005 P.F. certificate no longer accompanies. P.S.E. encapsulated (XF 90; SMQ $32,500.00). This is the highest grade awarded to date in the P.S.E. Population Report and no other example shares this grade.
6c Red Orange, Bluish (362). Lightly hinged, bright color on nicely blued paper, choice centering with wide margins all aroundEXTREMELY FINE GEM. AN EXCEPTIONAL EXAMPLE OF THE 6-CENT BLUISH PAPER GRADED XF-SUPERB 95 BY P.S.E. THIS ISSUE IS RARELY AVAILABLE WITH SUCH WIDE MARGINS AND OUTSTANDING CENTERING.

$2.00 Deep Blue (572). Mint N.H., deep rich color, mathematically perfect centering, crisp and brightEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THE $2.00 1922 ISSUE, WHICH HAS BEEN GRADED GEM 100 BY P.S.E. -- THIS IS THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED TO DATE.
Some believe the $2.00 value of the 1922-25 Issue is harder to find in this gem quality than the $5.00 value. Population Report and only two others share this grade.
