Very few well-centered blocks of the 3c E Grill have survived the mass extinction of multiples, as dealers broke them up to feed the market for choice singles. This is one of the last high-quality blocks left intact.

Original gum, lightly hinged, described on P.F. certificate as "previously hinged" and on P.S.E. certificate as "never hinged, with slight offset adherences on the gum and evidence that other offset has been removed", pretty shade, clearly-defined grill, fresh and Fine, with 2000 P.F. and 2004 P.S.E. certificates
5c Brown, F. Grill (95). Large part disturbed original gum which covers nearly all of the back, rich shade of the grilled issue, short perf at top and few gum soaked perf, appears Fine

A review using Power Search and a perusal of classic named-sale auctions revealed very few sound original-gum examples of the 15c F Grill with Very Fine or better centering.

The high-value F Grill stamps are scarce in original-gum condition and rarely seen with the centering of this superb example.
