THIS REMARKABLE STAMP HAS BEEN GRADED GEM 100 BY PROFESSIONAL STAMP EXPERTS -- THIS IS THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED TO DATE, AND THIS STAMP STANDS ALONE IN HAVING ACHIEVED THIS COVETED GRADE.

Our comuterized records contain only one cover bearing a complete Columbian set which was cancelled at the exposition. This cover, with Columbians to the $1.00 value, is extremely rare.

Sommerguth in Erfurt, Germany, perfectly struck receiving backstamps, $3.00 faint toning from gum around stampVERY FINE AND RARE COMPLETE SET OF COLUMBIAN DOLLAR-VALUE COVERS.
Sets such as this were for European stamp collectors, who prized the dollar Columbians in used condition.
