Unused, mostly original gum with a few Mint N.H. and some lightly hinged, the dollar values regummed, 1c and 8c with plate no. selvage, 2c and 10c pairs with top imprint and plate no. selvage, fresh colors, a couple flaws but overall Fine-Very Fine with most in the latter category
1c-10c Trans-Mississippi (285-290). Original gum, each sound and graded including 1c P.F. XF-Superb 95, 4c and 10c P.F. VF-XF 85, others P.F. VF 80, Very Fine-Extremely Fine short set

The $2.00 Trans-Mississippi issue is widely regarded as being the most difficult denomination of the series to obtain with any decent-size margins. The margins are almost always narrow on the $2.00, making it difficult for collectors of Gem-quality stamps to fill this space in their albums.
With 2014 P.S.E. certificate (OGh, XF-Superb 95; SMQ $6,500.00). Only three grade higher in the P.S.E. Population Report (highest is 98).
