Mint N.H. wide top left corner imprint and plate no. 2149 block of ten, half arrow at right, rich color and well-centered, pristine Mint N.H. gum without bends or skips, Extremely Fine plate block, with 2020 P.S.E. certificate, Scott value as plate block of six and four singles
10c Louisiana Purchase (327). Mint N.H., crisp impression, gorgeous centering with wide and balanced marginsEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A BEAUTIFUL MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 10-CENT LOUISIANA PURCHASE, GRADED SUPERB 98 BY P.S.E. -- ONLY TWO GRADE HIGHER.
With 2013 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $6,500.00). Only two grade higher (at 100, we have never offered one) and six others share this desirable grade. This is the first we have offered since 2017.
1c Jamestown (328). Mint N.H. with bottom part imprint selvage, intense color and proof-like impression, remarkably wide margins for this normally tightly spaced issue, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2020 P.F. certificate (Superb 98)
2c Jamestown (329). Mint N.H., exceptional centering, vivid color on crisp white paper, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2003 P.F. and 2005 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $1,200.00)
5c Jamestown (330). Mint N.H., perfectly centered with wide margins, deep rich color on post-office fresh paperEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT JAMESTOWN ISSUE WHICH HAS BEEN GRADED SUPERB 98 BY P.S.E. AN EXTREMELY DIFFICULT STAMP TO FIND IN THIS OUTSTANDING CONDITION.
With 2012 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $12,000.00). Only one stamp grades higher (at 98J, brought $32,500 hammer in one of our 2017 auctions) and only one other shares this grade (we have never offered the other)
5c Jamestown (330). Barest trace of hinging, deep rich color and proof-like impression on bright paper, gorgeous centering, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2010 P.S.E. certificate (OGph, Superb 98; SMQ $700.00), this is the highest grade awarded in this category, only one Mint N.H. stamp grades higher
