3c Green (147). Original gum, lightly hinged, outstanding centering and margins, deep rich color, Extremely Fine, an extremely difficult stamp to find unused in the higher grades, with 1980 P.F. and 2011 P.S.E. certificates (XF 90; SMQ $650.00), this is the highest grade awarded and is shared by only four others, also the only example at this grade we have offered in six years, SMQ does not even price this issue above the grade of 90
24c Purple (153). Brilliant color complemented by red New York Foreign Mail Geometric cancel, fresh and Very Fine
90c Carmine (155). Horizontal block of eight, beautifully centered, deep rich color, cork cancels, tiny corner crease at upper left of top left stampVERY FINE. THIS IS THE FINEST USED BLOCK OF THE 1870 90-CENT UNGRILLED NATIONAL BANK NOTE COMPANY ISSUE.

10c Brown (161). Mint N.H., deep rich shade, extra wide and beautifully proportioned margins on post office fresh paperEXTREMELY FINE. AN EXCEEDINGLY RARE MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 1873 10-CENT CONTINENTAL BANK NOTE ISSUE, GRADED XF 90 BY P.S.E. VERY FEW ARE KNOWN IN MINT NEVER-HINGED CONDITION AND EVEN FEWER WITH CENTERING THAT CAN BE DESCRIBED AS EXTREMELY FINE.
We have offered only approximately half a dozen single Scott 161's in Mint N.H. condition since keeping computerized records. This example bears the highest numerical grade of any we have offered.

90c Rose Carmine (166). Original gum, lightly hinged, radiant color, wide and balanced marginsEXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 90-CENT 1873 CONTINENTAL BANK NOTE COMPANY ISSUE.
1960 P.F. certificate no longer accompanies. With 2003 P.F. and 2019 P.S.E. certificates (OGph, XF 90; SMQ $5,000.00), only seven grade higher (with four of those at 95)
1c Dark Ultramarine (182). Mint N.H., rich color, wide margins, small inclusion at top left not mentioned on accompanying certificate, Very Fine and choice, with 1993 P.S.E. certificate
2c Vermilion (183). Mint N.H., bright color, small inclusion at top left not mentioned on accompanying certificate, Very Fine and choice, with 1989 P.F. certificate
5c Blue (185). Mint N.H., deep rich color and sharp proof-like impression, wide margins, fresh and Very Fine, with 1983 and 1997 P.F. certificates
30c Full Black (190). Original gum, lightly hinged, intense shade and detailed impression, remarkably choice centering with wide and balanced marginsEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 1879 30-CENT AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY REGULAR ISSUE, GRADED XF-SUPERB 95 BY P.S.E.
With 2000 P.F. and 2011 P.S.E. certificates (OGph, XF-Superb 95; SMQ $3,250.00). Only two grade higher (at 95J and 98) and only two others share this grade.
7c Scarlet Vermilion, Special Printing (196). Without gum as issued, rich colorFRESH AND FINE EXAMPLE OF THE 7-CENT 1880 AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY SPECIAL PRINTING.
Our census of Scott 196 contains fewer than 85 examples. With 2006 P.F. and 2008 P.S.E. certificates (F 70; SMQ $5,850.00)
10c Brown (209). Original gum, lightly hinged, uncharacteristically wide margins and nearly precise centering, fresh, lovely color, Extremely Fine, with 2008 P.S.E. certificate (OGph, XF 90; SMQ $275.00)
10c Dark Brown (209). Deep rich color, essentially perfect centering with wide margins, duplex cancel, Extremely Fine Gem, a superb used example of this issue, with 2012 P.S.A.G. certificate (Superb 98)
10c Black Brown (209b). Unused (no gum), deep rich color in this distinctive premium shade, wide margins, Very Fine, with 2003 A.P.S. certificate
2c Pale Red Brown, Special Printing, Horizontal Pair, Imperforate Between (211Bc). Original gum, lightly hinged, brilliant colorVERY FINE AND CHOICE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THIS IMPERFORATE-BETWEEN ERROR.
The vast majority of these error pairs are centered to the top. This example is centered better than most.

2c Green (213). Original gum, barely hinged, Jumbo beautifully balanced margins on fresh paper, Extremely Fine Gem, a huge and superb stamp, with 1992 P.F. and 2007 P.S.E. certificates (OGph, Superb 98 Jumbo; SMQ $500.00), this is the highest grade awarded to a hinged Scott 213 with no others equal (one Mint N.H. grades 98J and one grades 100)
90c Purple (218). Original gum, choice centering with balanced margins, rich color and sharp proof-like impression, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2000 P.F. and 2019 P.S.E. certificates (OGph, XF 90; SMQ $1,800.00)
