EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A HUGE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE $5.00 UNWATERMARKED BUREAU ISSUE, SCOTT 263, GRADED XF-SUPERB 95 JUMBO BY P.S.E.
With 2015 P.F. and 2015 P.S.E. certificates (latter OGh, XF-Superb 95 Jumbo). Only six grade higher (five at 98). For Mint N.H., the highest grade awarded is VF 80.

8c Violet Brown, USIR Watermark (272a). Unused (no gum), clear bottom portion of "R" of inverted "USIR" watermark, rich color, Very Fine, the "USIR" (United States Internal Revenue) watermark error occurred when a supply of paper reserved for revenue stamp production was used for printing the 6c and 8c postage stamps, there are approximately 75 known of the 8c, but many are either off-center or have flaws, collectors prefer examples showing the "R" watermark, as this letter is unequivocally from "USIR", while a partial "P" (from "USPS") can sometimes fool collectors by appearing as an "I", Scott value as original gum
8c Violet Brown, USIR Watermark (272a). Clear and bold "R" of "USIR" watermark, choice centering, oval cancel, Extremely Fine, with 1995 and 2008 P.F. certificates (VF-XF 85)
15c Dark Blue (274). Mint N.H., deep rich color on bright paper, well-balanced margins, fresh and Extremely Fine, with 1999 P.F. and 2017 P.S.E. certificates (XF 90)
15c Dark Blue (274). Original gum, essentially perfectly centered with Jumbo margins, intense shade and impression on bright paper, Extremely Fine Gem, a stunning stamp, with 2013 P.S.E. certificate (OGph, Superb 98 Jumbo), this is the highest grade awarded to a hinged stamp and it is equaled by only one other (one Mint N.H. has graded Gem 100)
50c Orange (275). Mint N.H., nicely centered, bright color, Very Fine and choice, ex Whitman, with 1994 P.F. certificate

$2.00 Bright Blue (277). Original gum, lightly hinged, deep rich color on bright paper, Very Fine and choice, with 2004 P.F. certificate

Choice centering and proof-like impression, deep rich color easily discernible from the standard Blue, New York oval registry cancel, Extremely Fine, ex Gorham, with 2009 P.S.E. certificate (XF 90), only one used example of this shade grades higher (at 98) and only seven others share this grade, this shade only comes on the 1895 watermarked paper
