Large margins to clear including sheet margin at left, faintly cancelled, small faults including creases and tiny internal tearVERY FINE APPEARANCE. THE 1898 ONE-THIRD BARREL UNSURCHARGED ISSUE IS ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL BEER STAMP ISSUES. ONLY TWO COPIES ARE RECORDED BY PRIESTER.
The other example was offered in our 2006 sale of the Tolman collection, and has margins in at top and bottom. Both are faulty.

The Priester census records five copies of this issue. We do not know if any others are unused. We have offered only one used copy (with perforated cancel) since keeping computerized records.
