3c Violet (464). Mint N.H., deep rich color and proof-like impression, choice centering with wide and balanced margins, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2007 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $950.00), only three have graded higher (highest is 98)
4c Orange Brown (465). Mint N.H., bright shade, essentially perfect centering with wide margins, Extremely Fine Gem, a beautiful stamp, with 2013 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $1,900.00), only two have graded higher
5c Blue (466). Mint N.H., rich color and detailed impression, wide and balanced margins, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2006 P.F. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $1,100.00)
5c Carmine, Error (467). Mint N.H., enormous margins with significant portions of eight adjoining stamps, the stamp itself is perfectly centered, brilliant colorEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE DESIRABLE 5-CENT PERF 10 ERROR.
This example, showing the 2c denomination of the surrounding stamps, should be considered very desirable.

With 2011 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98 Jumbo; SMQ $3,300.00). This is the highest grade awarded and only one other shares this grade.

12c Claret Brown (474). Mint N.H., brilliant color on post-office fresh paper, beautiful centering with wide and balanced margins, Extremely Fine Gem, a beautiful stamp, ex "Scarsdale", with 1999 P.F. and 1998 and 2007 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $1,000.00), only five have graded higher
15c Gray (475). Mint N.H., radiant color on crisp paper, perfectly centered with wide marginsEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A REMARKABLE MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 1916 15-CENT PERF 10 UNWATERMARKED ISSUE, WHICH IS GRADED SUPERB 98 BY P.S.E. -- THIS IS THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED.
According to Johl (p. 289), the only difference between this issue and the one before it is the absence of a watermark. It is difficult to see a watermark on the 15c stamp, so it was generally assumed that no change had taken place with this denomination, and was therefore overlooked by collectors. It was current for only six months.
With 2009 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $7,000.00). This is the highest grade awarded and only five others share it.
20c Light Ultramarine (476). Mint N.H. with wide bottom selvage, brilliant color, crisp impression, perfectly centered with Jumbo marginsEXTREMELY FINE GEM. AN ABSOLUTELY STUNNING MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 1916 20-CENT PERF 10 ON UNWATERMARKED PAPER. THIS STAMP IS GRADED SUPERB 98 JUMBO BY P.S.E., WHICH IS THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED. IT IS THE ONLY EXAMPLE TO ACHIEVE THIS GRADE.
This stamp is especially desirable with the selvage, which confirms the absence of the watermark.
With 2009 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98 Jumbo; SMQ $9,500.00). This is the highest grade awarded and the only example to achieve it.
30c Orange Red, Perf 10 (476A). Position 72 from Plate 6917, Mint N.H., vibrant color, wide marginsFRESH AND EXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF THE RARE 30-CENT PERF 10 FRANKLIN ON UNWATERMARKED PAPER.
With copy of 1972 P.F. certificate as block of four and 2006 P.F. certificate as single.
50c Light Violet (477). Mint N.H. with bottom selvage, vivid color on fresh paper, perfectly centered with wide and balanced margins, light Scott number pencil notation in selvage onlyEXTREMELY FINE GEM. THIS STUNNING MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 50-CENT PERF 10 UNWATERMARKED FRANKLIN ISSUE IS GRADED SUPERB 98 BY P.S.E. -- THIS IS THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED AND ONLY TWO OTHERS SHARE IT.

$1.00 Violet Black (478). Mint N.H., deep rich color and proof-like impression, perfect centeringEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB EXAMPLE OF THE $1.00 PERF 10 UNWATERMARKED FRANKLIN ISSUE, GRADED XF-SUPERB 95 BY P.S.E. ONLY TWO HAVE GRADED HIGHER.
This issue was in use for less than six months before the Perf 11 stamps were produced. Due to its short production run and it differing from the previous $1.00 issue (Scott 460) only by its lack of a watermark, many collectors and dealers of the day overlooked this issue. It is especially scarce with such perfect centering.
With 2006 P.F. and 2005 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $5,750.00). Only two have graded higher (both 98) and eleven others share this grade.
