24c Purple, H. Grill (142). Radiant color, many rows of clear grill points, large grid cancel and red cancel at right (possibly foreign credit marking)VERY FINE AND CHOICE. A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF THE 1870 24-CENT NATIONAL BANK NOTE COMPANY GRILLED ISSUE.

30c Black, H. Grill (143). Unused (no gum), clear grill points, deep shade, expertly reperfed at right, Very Fine appearance, a scarce used stamp in any condition, with 2013 P.F. certificate

This issue is difficult to obtain with such wide and balanced margins. We have never encountered another of this size.

90c Carmine, H. Grill (144). Brilliant color, unusually wide margins, several rows of clear grill points, cork cancel, tiny corner perf creases at top left and bottom leftEXTREMELY FINE APPEARANCE. THE 90-CENT 1870 NATIONAL BANK NOTE COMPANY GRILLED ISSUE IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO OBTAIN WITH SUCH WIDE MARGINS. THIS IS ONE OF THE LARGEST WE HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED.
