6c Dull Pink (159). Original gum, lightly hinged, Very Fine and fresh, with 2006 P.F. certificate (VF 80)
7c Orange Vermilion (160). Original gum, brilliant color, Very Fine and choice, with 1993 P.F. certificate
10c Brown (161). Original gum, lightly hinged, intense color and proof-like impression, Very Fine and choice, with 1989 and 2006 P.F. certificates (VF-XF 85)
12c Blackish Violet (162). Traces of original gum described on accompanying certificate as "part o.g.", deep rich color, choice centering, Extremely Fine, with 1993 P.S.E. certificate, SCV as no gum
15c Yellow Orange, Ribbed Paper (163 var). Slightly disturbed original gum, showing clear vertical ribbed lines, vibrant color
VERY FINE EXAMPLE OF THE 1873 15-CENT CONTINENTAL BANK NOTE COMPANY ISSUE ON RIBBED PAPER. VERY RARE WITH ORIGINAL GUM.

30c Gray Black (165). Unused (no gum), crisp impression, Very Fine, with 1986 P.F. certificate
90c Rose Carmine (166). Original gum, lightly hinged, rich color, reperfed at right (not noted on either certificate), appears Extremely Fine, with clear 2000 and 2009 P.F. certificates (VF-XF 85)
2c Vermilion (178). Original gum, lightly hinged, choice wide margins and almost perfectly centered, fiery color, Extremely Fine, with copy of 1992 P.S.E. certificate for block, with 1989 and 2008 P.F. certificates (XF 90)—far better quality than the stingy 90 grade conveys
5c Blue (179). Original gum, lightly hinged, deep rich color and well-proportioned margins, Extremely Fine, with 2006 P.F. certificate (VF-XF 85)
