6c Carmine, H. Grill (137). Rich color, choice centering with wide and balanced margins, quartered cork cancel, few minor perf creases at top, Extremely Fine appearance, with clear 1991 P.F. certificate
10c Brown, H. Grill (139). Several clear rows of grill points, rich color, segmented cork cancel, Very Fine, with 1995 P.F. certificate
12c Dull Violet, H. Grill (140). Deep rich color nicely complemented by red grid cancel, several clear grill points, unusually choice centeringEXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL USED EXAMPLE OF THE 1870 12-CENT NATIONAL BANK NOTE COMPANY GRILLED ISSUE.

24c Purple, H. Grill (142). Bright shade, unusually clear grill, circular New York Foreign Mail cancel, choice centering with well-proportioned marginsVERY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF THE 1870 24-CENT NATIONAL BANK NOTE COMPANY GRILLED ISSUE.
Scott 142 is not known in unused condition. Therefore, anyone wishing to complete this set must obtain the stamp in used condition. The example offered here, with choice centering and a clear grill, is highly desirable.

30c Black, H. Grill (143). Unused (no gum), remarkably choice centering for this issue, sharp proof-like impression, clear row of points at base of neckEXTREMELY FINE. A REMARKABLY FRESH AND BEAUTIFULLY CENTERED EXAMPLE OF THE 30-CENT 1870 NATIONAL GRILLED ISSUE. RARE IN UNUSED CONDITION AND ONE OF A HANDFUL WITH THIS CHOICE CENTERING.

90c Carmine, H. Grill (144). Unused (no gum), bright and fresh color, clear grill pointsVERY FINE AND CHOICE UNUSED EXAMPLE OF THE 1870 90-CENT NATIONAL BANK NOTE COMPANY GRILLED ISSUE.
The 90c National Bank Note Company grilled issue is one of the most difficult of the series to obtain with decent centering. Collectors who have been looking for this issue with good centering and original gum would be well-advised to consider this stamp.
