Only ten copies are recorded, six of which are sound. The tiny corner crease on the example offered here is very trivial.

A SCARCE EXAMPLE OF THE $100.00 GREEN SERIES 1940 HANDSTAMPED IN BLUE. ONLY THIRTEEN ARE BELIEVED TO EXIST.
Richard Friedberg records a total of thirteen used copies of this issue. Of these at least six have faults. We sold serial no. 377153 in our recent Scarsdale sale.

This is one of the keys to a complete collection of these issues. As an indication of rarity, none was offered in our recent Scarsdale sale, and this is the only example found with Power Search.
