Approximately 142 x 222mm with full die sinkage, bi-colors are hybrids as usual except for 30c, few toned spots or bends, few with minor abrasions at left indicating they came from a sample book (as usual), still Very Fine and scarce, seven with 1998 P.F. certificates
1c-12c 1869 Pictorial Issue, Plate Proofs on India (112P3-117P3). Blocks of four, mostly large margins, India paper flaws incl. thins and adherences, Fine-Very Fine appearance

With 2008 P.S.E. certificate (VF-XF 85; unpriced in SMQ as Mint N.H., SMQ $950.00 as hinged), the much more common 3c in Mint N.H. condition carries about a 2.3-times multiplier in 85 grade for never hinged versus hinged
2c Brown (113). Original gum, lightly hinged, well-centered with incredibly strong depth of color seldom seen on this Pictorial Issue value, Very Fine, with 2001 P.F. certificate
2c Brown (113). Block of four, original gum, two small h.r. where few perf separations sensibly reinforced, otherwise Very Good-Fine, scarce original-gum block
2c Brown (113). Five used singles, each is notable for the quality of the cancel, incl. "S" of Shermantown Nev., blue "B" or "R" handstamp, nice geometrics, three with small flaws, still Very Fine-Extremely Fine strikes, each with P.F. certificate from 2008-2011
2c Brown, Without Grill (113b). Original gum, fresh, deep rich color, centered to bottom, Very Good, a rare example of the 2c 1869 Pictorial Issue without grill, we have offered only seven other unduplicated copies since keeping computerized records, this is notoriously difficult to find with any decent centering, with 2004 P.F. certificate
6c Ultramarine (115). Original gum, lightly hinged, clearly-defined grill, brilliant color on paper as fresh as the day it was made, choice centering with wide marginsEXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 6-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL ISSUE. A STAMP OF GREAT VISUAL APPEAL.
